Founded in 2015, Busk Music is a online music publication run from Manchester in the UK. Busk Music focuses on upcoming and established artists who have the edge in the market and who we feel are the best yet sometimes not heard! We want to help the smaller and upcoming talent make new connections in the industry and bring our audience the best talent and sounds.
Busk Music Artist Management was found at the end of 2017 and is currently working with a number of artists; for more information about representation please get in touch.
Busk-Music was founded by myself in 2015 out of my passion for upcoming talent and the live music scene. When asked the age old questions “What genre music do you like” I can honestly say I can’t answer it; I really do have a love for any type of music. What I do say, is those tracks which have been written in such a way you can only connect with the lyrics are the ones.

“Quarter Irish. I play the guitar & sing. I have a diverse taste in music, but I’m a massive fan of r&b. I love desserts and travelling and I’m always up for new experiences!”
I’m Stevie Carter, a 20 year old student at the University of Manchester studying History and American Studies. Over the last few years I have taken an interest in discovering and blogging about new and up and coming artists and musicians, including interviewing The Vamps, Max Milner and Ebony Day. My main music influences and interests include modern mainstream pop and chart music, indie, house and RnB, with some of my favourite artists being Kehlani, Justin Love, Ariana Grande, The Vamps and Disclosure.
Hailing from South London, 18 year old electronic music producer Stanley Sorrell runs his record label South Space Records as well as hosting his monthly radio show on Ace Of Jacks Radio. Inspirations range from Kaytranada to 808INK, jazz to house and hip-hop to funk.
Tilda Gratton, 19, is a Geography student at the University of Manchester. Her favourite genres are post-punk, new wave, shoegaze and dream pop but she loves anything with a heavy focus on guitar, being self taught herself. Tilda is an avid gig goer and has been to over 60 gigs all over London and Manchester. She is part of the New Street Records society at uni where she loves finding undiscovered talent.
Hi I’m Oscar. I’m a student currently based in Bristol with a passion for radio and the music industry. I’ve managed to interview people like The Wombats, The Amazons, Walk The Moon and Twin Atlantic and the inner child within me can’t quite believe it! I’m always on the lookout for the next big rock band or indie artist and I love being able to write about them for other people.
James studied Professional Musicianship in Manchester. I have been involved in all roles around a stage, from crowd surfer to light technician. I have also travelled around the UK being the front-man for a previous grunge outfit. My music taste has always been eclectic, since I had a very musical childhood. However, my current interests alternate from punk to alternative rap.
Kristine Xu is a freelance journalist based out of Washington D.C. with a love for electronica, alternative rock and indie pop. Although she grew up playing classical piano, she now continues her passion for music through attending live shows and racing to Shazam music in public. Some of her favourite artists include Giraffage, Washed Out, Daft Punk, The Strokes and Tennis. In her free time you can be sure she’s looking for a snack or catching up on her shows.
