Nothing better for your summer playlist than a bit of Alternative Rock! And if you are attending some of the big summer festivals this year, Nothing but Thieves are one to look out for!
The five piece band from Essex are the perfect group to give you those summer vibes with their range of mellow indie tracks, perfect for a chilled summers day, to their up beat rock hits that will get you festival ready!
Over the last few years, they have released several EPs including ‘If You Don’t Believe, It Can’t Hurt You’ (2013) and ‘Graveyard Whistling’ (2014). However, in 2015, they released their debut album ‘Nothing but Thieves’ which peaked at number 7 on the UK Official charts and included some of their singles ‘Trip Switch’ and ‘Itch’.
So far this year they have already began to tease some of their new music, releasing singles ‘If I Get High’ and ‘Excuse Me’, giving a taste of the new music on the way. And they surely got the crowd on their feet as they went on their second British tour ‘Under My Skin’ over Easter, quickly followed by them taking their tour to America this summer.
However, while they may be stateside, fear not! They will still be back in time for many of your favourite summer festivals including Reading and Leeds and have a few UK shows planned for the end of the year. So make sure you go and see them on tour and catch them at your favourite summer festivals!
