MUSIC VIDEO RELEaSE: Swim Fan ‘tell me what u want’

Earlier this week emerging artist Swim Fan released their brand new single, and third release of the year – Tell Me What U Want. And today, the band have followed up the dynamic release with an accompanying music video to go alongside the track. Emerging onto the music scene earlier this year, Swim Fan have been delivering a steady stream of music; placing their stamp on the industry and showcasing their unique brand of artistry.

Tell Me What U Want see’s the trio deliver their signature blend of dreamy psych-pop, synthwave and indie-pop styles. Maintaining the same energy as their previous releases, the band have been honing their sound and style; drawing inspiration from more obscure musical icons such as Connan Mockasin and Toro Y Moi. With a captivating and immersive sonic palette, the kaleidoscopic production provides the perfect backdrop for the vibrant vocal melodies and harmonies that run throughout.

With the release of their brand new music video today, the track’s visuals bring together a comical, and somewhat retro vibe. An equally bizarre and entertaining experience, the video depicts the story of a mattress store worker who’s looking for love, and one who is unaware he has a secret admirer. Injecting a light and uplifting energy to the track, it highlights another layer of Swim Fan’s artistry and aesthetic.

“”Tell Me What U Want” is about having a fight with an ex, while still living together at the time”, explains the group.“The song details the feelings and conversation that take place knowing you both can’t go anywhere”.
