Nathan Sykes Back With New Music

You might know him better as 1/5th of popular boyband ‘The Wanted’. However since their hiatus, Nathan Sykes has been busy with some music of his own, as his solo career has taken flight. Nathan first showed that he would have no trouble going out on his own as, following throat surgery, he came back with fireworks and this included the release of his first solo project as he collaborated with Ariana Grande on ‘the Mortal Instruments’ soundtrack in 2013 with their song ‘Almost Is Never Enough’.

In April 2015, Nathan truly kicked off his solo career as he went on his first tour, doing six shows around the UK where he teased his fans on what was to come. And back on tour this year, Nathan also supported Little Mix on their ‘Get Weird’ tour this April. So far, he has released several singles in the run up to his album, all of which give off a chilled, throwback, jazzy pop vibe. In March 2015, Nathan dropped his first solo single ‘More Than You’ll Ever know’, giving us a first glimpse into his distinct new sound. Following this, he released singles ‘Kiss Me Quick’ and ‘Over and Over Again’ in July and November the same year. All being massive hits, his music so far can only be described as simply ‘cool’ and are all perfect summer anthems.

This year Nathan is back again with new music as he prepares for his debut solo album which is scheduled to come out later this year. His next single off the album is ‘Give it Up’ featuring rapper G-Eazy, giving off a more grown up, poppier vibe with a music video to match. No doubt it will be a massive success and it is definitely one for the dance floor.

So go check out Nathan’s new single which is released today, May 13th! And keep an eye out for his album later this year, or seeing him at some of this years summer shows and festivals, with him already being confirmed to play this years 2016 Capital Summertime Ball!
