Sunday Session – Lewis Capaldi

This week Sunday Session comes from Lewis Capaldi, a 22 year old Scottish singer from Glasgow. Capaldi caught the attention of major labels, Virgin Records & Capitol Records, after his track “Bruises” became the fastest to reach 25 million plays on Spotify by an unsigned Artist. Since then the young talent hasn’t looked back, lately being nominated for the Brits Critics Choice Award for 2019; previous winners include Sam Smith and Adele.

Today’s Sunday Session cover of “Shallow” comes from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and features in “A Star is Born”. Capaldi covered the track back in November in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and has since amassed over 380k views.
