Sam Feldt teams up with Sam Fischer on thier brand new hit ‘Pick Me Up’

Back with a stunning new release and fantastic collaboration, last week saw multi-platinum Dutch DJ and producer Sam Feldt team up with rapidly rising singer-songwriter Sam Fischer to release their brand new single Pick Me Up. Already having amassed close to 2 million streams on Spotify alone, the stunning new single was released just in time for the upcoming summer months with the buoyant, feel-good track set to be one of the summer’s biggest anthems and is certainly not one to miss. With both artists having had a successful 2020, and already dazzling us with their new releases so far this year; the chart-topping collaboration was only a matter of time and is the latest taste of both of their incredible artistic skills and talent.

Coming off the back of Fischer’s sensational duet with Demi Lovato on What Other People Say, and marking Feldt’s second original single of the year – after kicking off 2021 with a collaboration with Kesha on their track StrongerPick Me Up delivers a stunning fusion of the pairs vibrant and melodic sonic styles as it features Feldt’s dynamic energy and expertly crafted production seamlessly alongside Fischer’s powerful and bold vocal delivery. With a breezy and bubby melody running throughout, this is a fantastic new addition for all your current favourite playlists and is perfect for those fans of Ed Sheeran and JP Saxe.

Talking about the new track, the two Sams explain:

Sam Feldt: ‘I’ve loved Sam Fischer’s voice from the first track I discovered from him, and always dreamt about doing something together. Remixing his latest single together with Demi Lovato opened the doors for a single together, and I’m really happy with how our new track Pick Me Up turned out. For the drop, I collaborated with the Sam Feldt Live Band to record live horns, to take the energy of the song to the next level. I’m really excited to share the end result, because let’s be honest: two Sams are better than one’

Sam Fischer: “I’m stoked to be joining forces with Sam Feldt for Pick Me Up. He says ‘two Sams are better than one’ and I couldn’t agree more. Sam’s made people dance and brought joy to so many summers for years now, while I’ve been more in the business of making tears with my music. I’m excited to jump on his train, especially as life begins to start up again because who doesn’t need a Pick Me Up right now!”

Both placing their mark on the music scene over the past few years, Feldt has rapidly established himself as one of the most sought after electronic artists of recent times, already having garnered over 1 billion worldwide streams and solidifying his place as a DJ, producer, entrepreneur and sustainability pioneer. While, alongside Feldt, Fischer has seen an incredible mass of attention over the past few years since his introduction onto the music scene back in 2017 with the release of his debut single Getting Older. And in addition to his soulful vocals and poignant lyrics, the Australian born artist also continues to solidify his spot as one of the hottest current writers; working with global pop superstars including Ciara, Lennon Stella, Louis Tomlinson and many more.

An incredible new release and fantastic collaboration between the talented artists, we are sure to be in for more chart topping hits from both Sams as they continue on their rapidly rising trajectories and exciting musical journeys. So make sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for what they have in store for us next.
