The Year of Kehlani
After starting the year off right with a Grammy nomination for ‘The Best Urban Contemporary Album’ with her mixtape “You Should Be Here”, and her collaboration with Zayn for his debut album Mind of Mine; 2016 is tipped to be Kehlani’s year, with new music on the horizon.
Making her way onto the scene in 2013, she has since released two Mixtapes; “Cloud 9” (2014) and “You Should Be Here” (2015). 2015 saw the true rise of “Kehlani Tsumani”, with “You Should Be Here” marking a massive success for the singer; charting at number 36 on the US Billboard 200. This saw Kehlani collaborating with the likes of Chance the Rapper and upcoming rapper Lexii Alijai. 2015 also saw her join forces with some of the bigger names in music, including Justin Bieber on their single track Future, and Trey Songs on a remix of The Way.

Having released a collaboration with WSTRN earlier this year, fingers crossed we will be getting more new music from Kehlani shortly who has been torturously teasing snippets of upcoming tracks on her social media; as this year promises to be even bigger and better.
