I want you to be ok………

Sarah Walk – “Let Me Try”

“Let Me Try” was released on the 11th August 2017 by Sarah Walk, just under four minutes in duration but what a four minutes they are; you’ll be captivated the whole time.  The track is from her forthcoming debut album which is set for release in early 2018, we cannot wait. Have a listen here –

Everybody has been there and its that relationship that gets so raw and fought you just don’t know whether to let go or to draw the line and try to move on. The track follows the the rhythmic chords of Walk’s piano skills which carry the track through into the chorus which features a deep drum riff and even deeper piano chords; bringing to life the feelings of Walk and frustration from being helpless in the situation.

For us Walk is that artist who forgets there is anyone else there to criticize her work and so invests all her emotions into the track and quite simply doesn’t hold back. Its at this stage which Walk’s tracks become so relatable, live and draw you in into a constant daze.

However this isn’t the first release by Walk, far from it, Walk has previously released 5 other tracks which relate to different times and experiences in her life. One that stood out for us was “Maybe Someday” which was released in May 2016.

You may have been lucky enough to see Walk live in 2016 after she toured with Laura Mvula and played at Dot-to-Dot Festival. However if you didn’t get the chance, make sure to check out her website for future shows and updates:
